"The Evil That Men Do" by Iron Maiden

Posted by Ajax the Great (Pete Jackson)

An excellent song that goes well with the current zeitgiest. "The Evil That Men Do" by Iron Maiden (1988), clearly inspired by The Bard himself, William Shakespeare. "The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones", from Julius Caesar.  A fact that seems to apply a fortiori to our time.

(And of course, anyone who says the canned response, "Not ALL men!  May I play devil's advocate?" is clearly derailing or trolling.)

UP THE IRONS!!!

  1. Lol. So this is what you listened to in that era? I guess it's 'heavy metal"? Who even hears the words? During this era I was building my business that for the firt time, brought me wealth. I never heard this group before - their name I heard but vaguely. You'd have to PAY ME, lol, to listen to them: Sorry, lol. Rasa

    2. They were big in the 1980s and 1990s, but I didn't really discover them until around 2000 I think.
