William & Ned: this Dawkins guy sounds like a super creep - Yes - so much academia was fronted by males - ugh - they analyzed data & told the world there was no Matriarchy! You have to have energy & fighting spirit with men. Yes, you can be nurturing also, but you must have authority. It is tricky, not to be cold hearted - to be warm hearted, but strong in discipline, like being with a child.
About their violence- everyone is afraid of it – men tell me they’re afraid of male violence. Men are very nasty with other men.

Animals first, people second. Regards vegans and "sympathizers", still animals should come first. For those eternally frustrated by all of this, a good form of frustration release is watching the documentary series, "In a World Without Huma...ns". In that series, one can actually see how nature would recover lost territory if humans would simply vanish (almost like in a thunderclap moment). Within slightly over 600 years all traces of human activity would vanish...everything except all the toxic plastic still floating on the oceans still killing fish and aquatic mammals.
We are talking about harmonious creatures and not the actions of insolent humans. If you place the actions of humans as really being against cruelty first, what are you placing second? As convoluted as the answer I expected, are the activit...ies that seem to place humans in a sacred and "good light". Remember that animals are not cruel towards humans. I place humans second to animals. Humans are animals, but have foreclosed their right to claim humanitarian treatment, because they are cruel. That does not mean I condone cruelty towards humans, it means that human needs should not marginalize animal freedoms. In terms of the human drama, it means humans should be resettled to make habitats for animals to roam and forage. Notice that I did not even use the word vegan even once.
Re. Animal rights: On this issue I am thinking on par with Thomas - Animals first - humans second. But when we say "humans" it is isn't male & female who equally do violence toward animals, it's human males. Men do 99% of crimes & violence, not counting war, factor war in & it's off the chart. Josephine - you have a lot of anger toward Thomas. This is one reason people can't get ahead in their activism - infighting. If we put the egos aside, decide we must save the animals, we can get a lot done Where can we get this movie about humans being gone, the earth is restored in 600 years Thomas?

There is a chance women will cut down the use of meat to a fraction,, even more than 10%, as besides animal rights, it’s best for the environment (grow more crops on the land) & human health not to eat meat.

Yes William, we have to dispel the negative thoughts & repeat the positive like mantras. I did this last night & had wonderful dreams. Our positive prayers, mantras, thoughts, beliefs, are powerful. One of my best Gurus was Catherine Ponder. I had about 12 of her books, gave all away but one. I practiced her teachings several year in the 90's ,making lists of what I wanted to remove, what I wanted to manifest, in my life As soon as I read here first book, I sent her a donation of $3,500. She said we must tithe 10% or more of our income, & our "giving makes us rich." During those ten years of being a dominatrix, right when I sent her that donation, I became rich. I had been poor all my life, even as a stripper - the clubs made all the money.
I have the most trouble convincing people to give- my disciples HATE to give me donations, & I have given up begging - it's too much work, I just pay for it all myself.
People ask me how they can be affluent, & I tell them "by giving". They never believe me, they never get wealthy.
Some of what I prayed for 10-20 years ago is going to come true now. Not everything is instant - it does take time, & we cannot give up. Right now I am waiting for "Pablo" to be my husband . Good attitude, Steve. Your trials are understandable. I have had my share in the last months. Sometimes it's overwhelming. But "prosperity thinking," faith, confidence, are the keys to healing our minds. We do this by "reframing" our thoughts, in a sense, reshaping our minds or re-hypnotizing ourselves, not into delusions, but into positive ness- (I am an excellent hypotherapist, & when people left my office they said they were "walking on air."). After all, thinking bad thoughts are thinking in a delusional way, because God wants everything to be good in the end & overall. God is good, God wants good; to those who love God all comes out good.
I have been reviewing Catherine Ponder & just reading a few of her excerpts lifted my spirits to the sky.
It isn't that you must deny yourself all wants & needs - it's that you must believe that all can be obtained, if you have faith & patience. Some things take years to manifest.
Starting small works, you do it in stages. An alcoholic might start like this:
"I will drink less every day, I will stop before I get drunk."
Then when that works, say
"I will have no more than three drinks a day."
Then when that works,
"I don't need to drink at all."
