After perusing a series of descriptions of CONTEMPLATIVE FEMALE Catholic convents/monasteries I came to the conclusion that some of them fit into this category:

The Diogenes Club is a fictional gentlemen's club created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and featured in several Sherlock Holmes stories, such as 1893's "The Adventure of the Greek Interpreter". It seems to have been named after Diogenes the Cynic (though this is never explained in the original stories) and was co-founded by Sherlock's indolent elder brother Mycroft Holmes.

There are many men in London, you know, who, some from shyness, some from misanthropy, have no wish for the company of their fellows. Yet they are not averse to comfortable chairs and the latest periodicals. It is for the convenience of these that the Diogenes Club was started, and it now contains the most unsociable and unclubbable men in town. No member is permitted to take the least notice of any other one. Save in the Stranger's Room, no talking is, under any circumstances, allowed, and three offences, if brought to the notice of the committee, render the talker liable to expulsion.         Why I say this.  In my educated opinion, as a Woman of God, I don’t believe She calls us to perpetual Contemplation.  I do understand the meaning & use of Contemplation & I know it’s ‘the better part’ {as said by Jesus comparing Mary Magdalene at his feet vs. Martha bustling about} & when we are in Contemplation we are mentally, in Consciousness, in our Highest Center.   

        Even for saints, there are normal states, conditions for life, that we go through & few that I now or read about are in perpetual states of Contemplation.

        The states of Contemplation which include solitude & silence are given PERIODICALLY, in particular, just before one reaches one’s Highest Center.  This, for me, took about one year – for St. Catherine of Sienna two years.  I still had to go out, take care of business, do grocery shopping; I was not in total silence & solitude, but I was detached from all people, work for money & things.  At the conclusion I had amazing revelations of God & saw Her Face to Face TWICE, I navigated to the Other Side of our Reality.

        For St. Catherine, she stayed in her room in her parent’s villa & meals were brought to her for two solid years!  Then she reached her epitome of spirituality, which is a Contemplative state.

        There are times also, when people, including myself, become celibate & have little to do with the outside world as far as strong attachments.  This state is relatively peaceful & serene, as it’s attachments & desires that cause all the trouble.

        Now let us look at human nature & some of its needs.  People at times NEED TO TALK – seriously so.  They need to compare their thoughts, ideas & imaginations with others, to see how they stack up against them, maybe to amend or improve something.  Then there’s VENTING.  We all need to vent at times, let off steam; my entire life story written is a form of venting, where I ‘let it all hang out’ of what I did & especially what was done to me.  I griped, I complained & it was THERAPY.  If a person has no shoulder to cry on, no way to vent, their inner demons or sorrows are like steam that concentrates & needs release, or else it’s like poison inside that needs a boil to burst.  Keeping negative thoughts & feelings within, especially anger & pain, is a great source of depression.  I know a lady who is clinically depressed half her life & I keep encouraging her to vent her anger –she refuses she has it & so she is forever on hard medication prescribed by her psychiatrist.  It’s anger at her Dad for sexually abusing her.  Sometimes the person can’t admit to it.

        And just the normal status of our lives needs to be SHARED at times with others, just talking, unwinding, knowing someone cares enough to listen to all our troubles {even if they are tiny & will pass} – this is therapeutic.  People in solitude in prison say the hardest thing to bear is not being able to speak to anyone.

        And so, I am suspicious of these ‘contemplative’ orders & wonder if the founders have a personal reason why they want to be alone & silent & they want no interference from others.  So they let you into their circle on condition you keep your mouth shut!  They don’t want to hear your life story, your struggles, your complaints, your doubts & fears, your hopes & dreams – nothing!

It is a sign of love & caring to hear people out – to know what is inside them & with love, to support their pains.  It’s charity, it’s empathy.  I do not trust these ‘contemplative’ pretenders as I said & think in some cases there is more behind it than the contemplation of God, it could be rather a rejection of people, wanting in an eccentric way, to be ‘left alone.’  Not wanting annoyance or sharing other people’s stories.

        In our Order I would not impose silence on the Members, even the ones living in our House.  And some of them will have children.  Children make noise, you have to tolerate it.  We’re not talking about constant gossip, chaos, daily screaming or arguments, your talking about normal noise, which is natural & will be part of every family.  Death will bring total silence, this is life.

        To tolerate the talk of other people is a form of charity.  Even if they are boring, at times you must hear them out to satisfy not your, but their need.  Listen compassionately.

        Again, we are not speaking extremes.  I warn about being with Vampires who drain the marrow out of your bones, who perpetually live in the loop of Me, Myself & I.  Those are to be avoided – they CANNOT live on our premises!  There has to be BALANCE in all things.  Some will be obsessed for a short time with problems or lovers – but not perpetually.  This you have to bear – it’s LIFE.

        And so, in conclusion, although I believe in Contemplation as the Highest State, I cannot & will not enforce it  as an umbrella on all, as it would not be beneficial, but some sort of punishment, & we accept those wanting to be in Contemplation, Solitude & Silence for certain times, but we must tolerate noise, talking, conversation, sharing, venting, laughing, giggling, even yelling, lol, as part of our natural experience.

 

Our Mission Statement – What our Purpose Is

 

        I have spoken much about our housing, the Order, the beliefs, good conduct, who is chosen, relations between members & the outside world, how we deal with men & women’s sexual conduct, etc.  But now, what is our ultimate purpose & goal?

It isn’t to house women & give them wonderful lives in the present generation, plus helping with their children, it is more far reaching.  It extends into the future as far as eye & mind can see – it’s for generations to come.

Our purpose is evangelization of our beliefs, to get other women & men to believe what we are fighting for, a just & sane world run by women.  It can only be run by women, as they are the natural Mothers & therefore, CARE GIVERS.  They have an instinct to TAKE CARE OF PEOPLE – William Bond has written a lot about this.

The instinct of a person in a male body vs. that of one in a female body has a conflict in agenda.  At one time, women chose to have offspring with the most macho, aggressive, physically strong men.  It served them well.  As they mated with men who best fit that description, men became more macho, more aggressive.  These men could do lots of hard work with muscles women didn’t have, they had physical energy.  They were aggressive to a point that was helpful by keeping other men away from a community with intent to interfere or pillage or harm.  They also protected from wild animals.  They were also more impulsive & took chances women would not, sometimes to a point of being reckless as they do today.

These original men were SERVANTS who obeyed women, everyone assumed women were the leaders & they were.  Women bore the children, they did not want to sacrifice themselves or take chances, say with the Woolly Mammoth or Grizzly Bears, when there were men to take that chance.  Their role was extra special, Sacred, while men’s was not as important, to some degree, they were expendable, as one man could impregnate a bevy of women, but one woman could only have a child per year.

What happened is that over hundreds of thousands of years, men became so much the opposite of women’s nature, so prone to violence & recklessness, that they stood up against women instead of obeying them.

Then what happened is told in the myth Lucifer to Satan & one third of the angels following him into Hell.

This is an allegory of the human male rising up against Mother God & the authority of women, saying he was as good as women & would not serve them.  Women & Mother God are synonymous in this myth.

He was ousted into Hell by a Great Angel called ‘Michael’ {who is neither gender}, with the armies of Mother God behind her, where he forever plots against the human race, how to take the rest of them into Hell, how to destroy them.  He is the most heinous, un-redeemable & perverse of all living creatures, he cannot be changed, mollified or redeemed, he can only be exorcised or removed, & we must be extremely wary of him, as he goes about seeking to ‘steal, kill & destroy,’ & he disguises himself as an ‘angel of light,’ pretending to be a do gooder & helpful to the max.  But his intent is always to destroy.  This explains the leadership of men – Patriarchy, & supposedly one third of the males are of that nature, while two thirds, thank God, remain normal.

Unfortunately in this ‘age of Kali’ these demonic men took over the world & so, all the world is under their siege, & Jesus said, ‘Satan is the Prince of this world.’

 

There is a parallel myth with the Hindus, where this demon called Maharashtri became so prevalent & out of hand that the three main MALE Gods could not defeat him.  He’d got his foot in the door too strongly.  They called upon the female God Durga who began the fight.

Durga disguised herself as a beautiful woman, beguiled Maharashtri & cut off his head.  But as his head tumbled down & his blood sprayed everywhere, every drop turned into a new demon.

Then Durga turned herself into Kali & LAPPED UP every bit of his blood turning into demons so no more demons could emerge.

This aptly & ingeniously explains the tale of men having created a world of Patriarchy, Maharashtri being that.  The male Gods are great human men, such as Jesus or Buddha who no matter what they did, could not stop Patriarchs, their hold on humanity was too strong.

These male Gods then call upon the Female Power, called Durga.

Men are all in love with the beauty of women.  She could only go so far, however, in controlling him, more & more men came into the world, even though she ‘killed’ some.  As more men were born, Patriarchy continued, it could not be stopped.

Now the final solution, male extinction is explained this way.  Durga turns herself into Kali & laps up their blood.  This is Mother God as Nature, the Ultimate Power, who reaches right into the DNA of human kind, & she causes the male chromosome Y to crumble with no ability to repair itself.  And this means human men are going downhill & in about 100,000 years give or take 25k, human men will be no more – end of Patriarchy.

And so, what started as an ‘experiment that did not work’ now came to its conclusion.  Women wanted that sort of man long ago, who could be helpful to her, a creature who could be sacrificed in her defense.  But this gender became strong to the degree that he no longer wanted to obey, but wanted all the rights & privileges of the female, being the leader of family & world, & he turned the world upside down with his unreasonable demands, exploitation of people & nature, he turned the world into a Hell & no matter what he claimed, the end of all his projects was destruction.  Every one of his societies, be it Premier, Chieftain, Prime Minister, President, King, Oligarch, everything he devised although promising to bring good to the world, ended up the same way, the rich & powerful against the poor & obscure, people being used to prop up an elite privileged.

 

We are now on the cusp of an end to that era, ‘Kali Yuga’ being short lived compared to the long run – they’ve been in power for about six thousand years vs. a time of

hundreds of thousands of years when women were in power.  For many ages women ran the family & society & men were underlings, they lived in peaceful villages, no weapons of destruction, not even swords, & a Mother God was worshipped.  Women were the Priestesses, the Queens, business leaders, all was done fair & square, no disparity between rich & poor, everyone taken care of – that is the way of the woman’s mind, - all her children.

 

        Our Mission is to bring back the worship of Mother God & the agenda of woman, the care giver.  We need to reach out to women & amenable men by all means there are, be it internet, Television, movies, radio, publications, & door-to-door visits.

        Our members will have to take part in this mission or support the members who do the work, all will be in harmony, but that is the main goal.

        We want to turn back the hands of time backward & foreword, when there was peace & will be peace again.

        We purport that only when women run the family & the world will there be justice & happiness for all, as the world run by a Good & Benevolent woman who loves all her children is not a world of competition & conflict as run by men.  Negotiation is the key, equality of love for all is paramount.

 

                The Door to Door Ministry

 

        We can imitate the Jehovah’s Witnesses who have for many years gone door to door.  It’s a Patriarchal religion – the women are not allowed to preach in Kingdom Hall, the leaders are men, but it is the women who do the hard work, mostly, of proselytizing.  I have met only 2 men out of about 20 or so women who came to my door.  I have spoken at length to some of them & they are not true ‘Christians’ but that is alright – their doctrine is irrelevant to us, we have our own Doctrine.

        The Jehovahs’s are not allowed to enter the dwelling of those they reach out to, for reasons of safety.  I would adhere to that, & also, if we meet a household with a man present, it should be avoided – again, for safety reasons.  We know in the beginning we will be grossly misunderstood, some men will have hostility toward us & might get violent.  Our members must be wary of any gross confrontations.  And so, we will preach hopefully, for the most part, to households of single women including women who have children.

        We intend to attract women & men throughout the world to preach our message through the media as already said, this to be addressed in future.   Rasa
