This is rich for Female Empowerment. In it a great woman - a psychiatrist {let me tell you, it is no joke to become one. You have to be an M.D. & then get the other degree on top of it. I know, in real life psychiatrists do not do THERAPY, not here in the states, they only PRESCRIBE medications. Psychologists do therapy - this is here in the U.S.A.} And so this woman, who is SICK herself emotionally due to her DAD abusing her sexually. She is anorexic & can't respond sexually to her husband whom she loves. Anyway she hears the story of this poor adult-trade worker who's being abused from many angles by men - pushed around, beaten & raped. She takes this case to heart. When the husband comes after HER - the psychiatrist - planning to strangle her with a stocking, she sets him up for a confrontation in the woods. Wow, it's a marvel. The movie shows every detail. What courage this would take. Long story made short, she cuts his throat from behind & pushes him into the water, cleans & hides all the evidence. They suspect her but she gets away with it as they have no EVIDENCE. And when they suspect the beaten wife, also, she suggest to her to just stay quiet, they can't get her, no evidence, & then we move to the future. Oh yes, the pedophile Dad of the psychiatrist also dies, with no forgiveness from her - the victim confronts her Mom for KNOWING about it all the time. She did. OK 3 years later the beaten wife is in jail in the arms of a woman telling her story of how the only person who ever loved her was this psychiatrist who killed for her - no one takes her seriously, & then you see Miss Psychiatrist has been healed of her malady because of the death of her Dad & murdering this man. She's with her good husband again & daughter, she's able to eat, & she's applying for a job in a new facility that helps abused women. She says something like 'I believe I can make a change.' Lol. Great ending, not like most, where women get mauled, beaten, raped & then destroyed.
