Homosexuality
was never a sin - WHY - Because it is {1} NOT A CHOICE & {2} SEX IS NOT A
SIN. A percent of people - 10 to 12% are BORN gay. Now what I'm going to say is
NOT a contradiction to my previous statement...BUT - It is EASY to jump on
& condemn homosexuals by heterosexuals. Now I challenge the heteros
including John-Henry Westen {assuming you are hetero} - Do you feel the same way
re masturbation, fornication & adultery? Gotcha there! Of course you don't.
But the CC says these are MORTAL SINS! John-Henry you believe totally what the
CC has been forcing us to believe - you spoke of the woman caught in adultery,
you spoke of PROSTITUTES & said something about they would have to repent.
That means you judge & codemn all women in the adult trade - myself
included - as sinners unworthy of grace, unless we repent & change our ways
{I have not repented nudity or sex acts or entertainment/therapy for pleasure
or business.} So anyone guilty of these behaviors you've got them going to Hell
in a hand basket. So let's look at that - heteros vs homos - Now suppose some
of these Priests, Bishops & Popes are masturbating? lol. Going to Hell? The
CC says so unless they repent. What about hetero acts - I know personally
Priests who have women. All going to Hell? Some people think Jesus had women -
Mary Magdalene in particular - He sinned? {I think it’s irrelevant} And last
but not least, how many humans do not masturbate, fornicate & never commit
adultery? One out of a million? So you would have everyone in Hell -
unless they repent of these 'sins.' I know it's EASY to bring up sodomy as
disgusting - to a hetero, not to a gay. I don't want to discriminate
against gays - I don't think they sin. But I also do not want a Church of 99% homo
Priests, Bishops & Popes. I would be glad to do an interview with you on
these issues John-Henry if you are interested - I am writing a book on this

Christ himself never saw anything wrong with that at all, and certainly never
said anything in that regard. It was PAUL who was a homophobe who was most
likely in the closet, lol. Ergo, any form of "Christianity" that is
homophobic, transphobic, etc should really be called Paulianity instead.
AMEN. Well said overall, Rasa. It seems that both simony AND sodomy have been the Catholic Church's stock and trade for centuries, lol. Granted, there is nuance, but you are certainly correct, Rasa. And while a move towards greater inclusiveness (and less hypocrisy!) is generally a good thing, this move (or anything else) will NOT save the Church from its now irreversible decline and collapse, as the rot has simply gotten too deep to reverse, and too many people are leaving in droves without being replaced. To that we say, good riddance to this corrupt and vile patriarchal institution!
