Wow. I am certainly glad that John Lennon was saved! Some Near Death Experience (NDE) accounts claim they saw him in Hell, but the accuracy of such accounts is variable, to put it mildly. I know he had a bit of a dark side, but on balance he was good, and contrary to what some ignorant people claim, he did NOT reject God, he simply understood God differently than the "traditional" way.
Apparently even Hermann Goering was saved by the skin of his teeth by repenting in his final moments before he drank the poison in suicide. But what about Goebbels? Well, I tend to think he was eventually reincarnated as Stephen Miller, the Fatherland...er...Homeland Security advisor for the trump administration, who looks just like him (albeit Jewish, ironically). If that's true, he apparently still has yet to learn his lesson, and this may be his last chance for his soul to get it right. Judging by his utterly reprehensible behavior now, he probably blew that chance already in this lifetime.
Meanwhile, Nero likely got eventually reincarnated as Mussolini and then Trump. You can see the similarities, both in the hair (Nero and Trump) and the permanent scowls on their faces (probably all three). Interestingly, Buddhists believe in both Heaven and Hell, but believe both are temporary and ultimately followed by reincarnation.
If I had to take a wild guess who spent the record longest time in Purgatory in all of recorded history, I would probably say Roman Emperor Constantine I. Before his (supposedly) genuine deathbed conversion, his initial conversation to Christianity was faked (done for political reasons, and also to please his mother), he killed more Christians than Nero or any other emperor (mostly out of disagreements over the meaning of Scripture), killed his wife and son, and he treated Women horribly by today's standards (for example, he punished rape victims along with the perperators). But he also did a lot of good too, most notably legalizing Christianity, among other reforms. So he ultimately was likely saved by the skin of his teeth, but had a shit-ton of sin/karma to expiate nonetheless. Just a hunch.
