Basically, in a nutshell, the spiritual work for men is to LOSE the self, while in contrast, the spiritual work for Women is to BUILD the self. Though even that is a bit of an over-generalization, as for some individuals the reverse can be true of course, but for the vast majority of people, that generalization holds.
