Who is Goddess Kali?

Who is Goddess Kali?  3-6-22

From William Bond & Guru Rasa Von Werder

Hi Rasa

You did also ask me to write something about Kali, so I have written a short article about her.

William says:

I personally think that the Hindu story of Kali is simply ancient Femdom. Rasa you once made a Femdom film called, “Stand on your Man”. Which is exactly the same as Kali standing on Shiva. Also in other images they have sex together with Kali on top, which is again a symbol of female dominance.

Kali is a very extreme archetypal Dominatrix. Both are black, the Dominatrix has a black catsuit and has a cane or whip in her hand, while Kali has a sword and both have a fierce expression on their faces. Although Kali is far more dangerous and frightening than any Dominatrix. But to survive in the patriarchal age the Kali followers couldn’t admit it was all about female domination. So they had to invent other reasons why Kali was standing on Shiva. This then suggests that men’s fantasies about powerful dominant women is not a new thing but comes from our ancient past.

Men and women are different, women see sex in terms of love, but men’s sexual fantasies are all about dominance and submission. So men are sexually attracted to either submissive or dominant women. Patriarchy encourages men to be dominant and women to be submissive, but men can switch and become attractive to dominant women. The problem now in the patriarchal age for both Femdom and Kali followers, is that women are not powerful. So the whole Femdom scene is only a fantasy of powerful women and not a reality.

For this reason it is easier for most men to have desires for submissive women than dominant women because they are told that women are naturally submissive. Up until the 1970s psychologists claimed that all women were naturally masochistic when vocally feminists denied it. But this idea still persist in our society so many people still believe this. But if we start to have more and more powerful women like powerful women political leaders and businesswomen or female billionaires. Then men will start to see that women can be powerful and dominant in real life this will encourage more men to switch their desires from submissive women to desiring dominant women. As many young men will start to have fantasies of having relationships with powerful wealthy women.

So Kali probably was a Dominatrix archetype that men fantasied in the past. The necklace of male heads she has, are like a person who puts notches on their bedpost of how many times they have had sex with different people. It means that men are attracted to dominant women and when women have real power and wealth in our society then men will very attracted to these women.

Both Kali and Shiva are both the oldest deities in Hinduism. So Kali was once the ancient Great Mother. The Great Mother is the One, The-all-that-there-is. So She is the most powerful force in the universe because She is the universe.

 Rasa says:

Wow William, that is a good one.  The great avatar, Ramakrishna would agree with you.  I've been boning up on him recently; he was one of my original Yoga gurus.  He said what you just said, that Kali was an image of womanhood, a great Mother but She was also 'Nonduality' or the Absolute Supreme Everything.  He did not limit Kali to any small corner of the Universe.  He was obsessed in his personal devotion to God as Mother Kali - although he practiced & mastered a dozen different religions including Christianity.  I mean he became a Muslim(during that time it was pure Allah, no images of Gods!), a Krishna spouse (they said he was the personification of Radha, Krishna's wife) & Jesus & he merged into One.  By proficient, I mean he BECAME the Apex of what each religion espoused.

I have written articles about my version of Kali, from the myth Durga.  The 3 great male Gods could not stop Maharashtri, a huge demon dominating the world.  They had to call on Durga, a female diety.  OK, she tried.  She turned herself into a beautiful woman & seduced him, (the way was it Judith in the Old Testament did with Holofernes, who was attacking Israel.  And while he was in a drunken stupor she cut off his head, his armies fled, the Israelites were free.)

Now Durga cut off the head of Maharashtri, but as it fell to the ground, each drop of blood became a replicate demon. (She could not destroy the demon by killing one male incarnation; more & more men were born with the exact same nature - replicas)  She then turned herself into Kali, who is pictured as 'blood thirsty' with the skull necklace of men around her body, standing on a human male.  You don't believe in MALE EXTINCTION, but I have wholeheartedly partaken of the teachings of the worked famous geneticist Dr.  Bryan Sykes.

Kali IMO is a symbol of two parallel things - Mother God & human females.  Mother God is rendering human males extinct by crumbling their Y chromosome which cannot repair itself.  And while they're on their way out, human females are taking over the family & the world.

As you said, Patriarchy could not admit human females are the dominant gender.  They made up that Kali is standing on Shiva - the male God.  I reviewed this recently & that has some logic to it, Shiva being the Male Power, which cannot be BROUGHT TO LIFE except by the female - the female brings him life in birth & also on earth She inspires him to do all that he does - he does it to get the females (the way you have written many animals do, such as herd animals, lions & tigers, etc.)  Standing on Shiva can also mean, in the context of Matriarchy & Patriarchy, her rendering males extinct.  I like this myth because it is a certainty that war, violence, bloodshed, all the unjust laws, exploitation terrorism; all these factors will be wiped off the planet with the males who create them.

  1. This one came out excellent as usual, Rasa and William. Very great insight, both of you. With great artwork and of course plenty of fuzzies, both kitties and piggies. I will make sure to share it as well.

Best wishes and keep up the great work,
