Nutritional Strategy for Coronary Artery Disease


Here he strongly is AGAINST the Mediterranean diet & he gives evidence why - from tests of people on it - & he is definitely AGAINST any oil including olive & coconut oil.  He's even against flaxseed oil, but not against flaxseeds or flaxseed meal thank God!
    One thing I CANNOT comply with is he is against CAFFEINE. Without it I could not function.
    So many new things coming up. He's not BIG on nuts. I guess in small amounts. I might not be able to comply with this 100% or I will turn into a skeleton. Have not heard him speak of dried fruits. But he is definitely against TOO MUCH sugar, even Maple Syrup & Honey.  Extreme to be sure.  His wife & daughter use a lot of maple syrup on their videos.
    Have not heard him speak of jellies, jams, preserves or peanut butter.  This is so restricted truly a person would become a skeleton if they do it 100%.  White bread is OUT.  Whole grain bread is OK.  He does look like skin & bones in his suit.  When he's standing up. He's very tall though & his daughter is tall & both wife & daughter are thin.

  1. Indeed it seems to be flawed, but use your discretion and stick with the bits that do make some sense to you I guess.

    And I agree 100% with you about caffeine. I could not function without it either as well. And anyone being against the Mediterranean Diet is a bit of a red flag IMHO, but I could be wrong. Purists of any kind can be so annoying sometimes, lol.
