Dr. Essy's 91st B-Day: A whole food, plant-based dinner demo bash!

Rasa says:

       William you mention spices. This is crucial. For breakfast it's not so hard, but dinner, being all vegetables is tough. What spices are you using?  Have you figured out how to make a sauce that doesn't use oil or fat or mayo?

        You started this 10 years ago - you could have saved me from the heart attacks I had had you aggressively pushed me to study this & do it. I am unhappy about that.  And also had you been more forceful a couple years ago when you introduced this to me I might have done it, but you were gentle. Sometimes persistent force is NECESSARY to make a person break habits, addictions & old beliefs. I wish you had PUSHED me to study this because if I had given it a chance I would have changed long ago.

    Pete you hate this diet. But I want to encourage you to at the very least enter into your diet SOME of the items he suggests. More leafy greens, more veggies, more fruit, more whole grain, more oatmeal.  He said the LEAFY GREENS are the main items which cause the change. Kale, Swiss Chard, spinach, arugula & beet greens are the most effective. {My provincial market had some but not all of these yesterday! But I got a week's worth of  greens & am eating them constantly anointed with balsamic vinegar as he says - one can also use rice vinegar or wine vinegar & IMO if you don't have that, apple cider vinegar.}

    You could continue to eat what makes you happy including your olive oil, but if you put in these items every day might be of great benefit. Will you at least TRY?

    I know how hard it is to CHANGE because look at me. William tried to help me but he wasn't FORCEFUL or PERSISTENT so I IGNORED him. You want me to STOP pushing about this but I WON'T.  Because if I push it might help you tremendously for the rest of your life. I entreat you to try it PARTIALLY, that is all.

    His helper explained there are 2 ways to follow this diet, "Plant STRONG" & "Plant PERFECT." One can do plant strong if they can't do the perfect. I am trying the perfect but not 100% because he doesn't like PEANUT BUTTER but he likes PEANUTS.  But I ate two peanut butter sandwiches {with flaxeed in them} for my dinner. I just don't have enough ingredients to do it all right yet.  Maybe I'll continue eating p butter once in a while.  And I might eat ANYTHING for my birthday, Thanksgiving & Xmas, lol.

          About peanut oil: whole peauts are good but AVOID peanut oil! They did studies on poor little monkeys, giving them corn oil, some other oil & peanut oil. Then they killed them & did autopsies. The ones that ate peanut oil were riddled with heart disease!

    William, keep holding me up on this, help me with ideas like how do you make these tasteless veggies palatable? What do you do with regular POTATOES?
